Every voice has a story. Apparently, so does a website.
After a good while of building, rebuilding, and obsessing over details most people would never notice, vahik.am is finally live. Not a placeholder, not a "coming soon" page, the real thing, in three languages: English, Armenian, and Persian.
If you are reading this, you probably clicked through from somewhere, maybe a link I sent, maybe a search, maybe pure curiosity. Either way, welcome. This is the part of the site where I step out from behind the mic and just talk. Sometimes about a project I just wrapped, sometimes about the craft itself, sometimes about music, and sometimes about whatever happens to be on my mind that month. I called it Off Mic for exactly that reason.
Building a site in three languages turned out to be a much bigger undertaking than I expected. It is not just translation, it is making sure a page written for a Persian reader actually feels like it was written for a Persian reader, not translated at one. Same for Armenian. That attention to detail is, in a strange way, the same instinct that drives my actual voice work. A script does not just need to be read correctly, it needs to sound like it belongs in the room it is being spoken in.
For now, take a look around. Listen to a few samples on the Demos page, or read a bit more about the work I do across languages. And if you have a project in mind, the Contact page is right there.
More soon. This is only the first entry.
